Hello and welcome! My name is Hugo Moreira and I’m a Finance student.
I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Finance at ISCTE Business School.
Before that, I graduated from ISCAL—Lisbon Accounting and Business School with a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance.
They say the best way to learn something is to explain it to someone else. Also, if you can’t break things down and be able to explain them to a 5-year-old, then you don’t really know what you’re talking about.
That’s the purpose of this blog.
To explain complex topics related to corporate finance and financial markets to anyone who’s interested. And to do so in plain simple English—assuming you don’t know a thing about finance.
As a result, I get to increase my knowledge too. Why? Because the only way I can break things down for you is if I’m deeply acquainted with them myself.
